But what truly keeps the flame of his vision burning bright is the soulful dedication of his beloved wife and partner, Maria Elena Cuomo, President of the Cuomo Foundation. In the years since his passing, she has transformed grief into purpose, and remembrance into renewed action. With phenomenal devotion, grace, and unwavering selflessness, she has carried forward Alfredo’s dream — expanding its reach, deepening its roots, and nurturing it with a rare blend of strength and tenderness.
